Japanese Garden Bridge

My friend, Elaine’s impression:
All is quiet but the soft tapping sounds as you step, step, step on the wooden slats … and the rustling of leaves as you enter into another world of beautiful gardens.

The story behind creating the image:
I wanted to take some fall foliage pictures and thought the Missouri Botanical Garden would be a good place to shoot. Fall is my favorite season because I love the colors & the crisp air. While wandering around looking for subjects, I ran across this bridge in the Japanese Garden & gave it a shot. I like the relationship of the bridge colors to the fall leaves. It feels to me like this bridge is leading into a peaceful forest.
