The Stan Span

This image is of the newly built Veterans Memorial Bridge informally known as the “Stan Span” after Stan Musial. I was unused to going to the north side of downtown at night and was worried about taking my thousands of dollars of photographic equipment there for this shot, but I overcame my fears & did it. I decided if I saw no-one or many people, I’d feel fine, but if I saw just a few I would be worried. As it turned out none showed up & I had the scene to myself to take this night shot of the Stan Span in all it’s illuminated glory.
